For these 8 weeks, with Camp Halo, 40-60 kids each week are learning how God is at work in their lives.  That He is not just a God that that is simply out there, disconnected and un-involved from His creation.  He is “DOING SOMETHING” to teach us how to TRUST, FOLLOW, OBEY, LOVE Him.  In thinking about this concept we realize that these “Essentials” of the faith truly help us to know Jesus more.  Knowing Jesus more builds a foundation that we all need, not just our kids.  It’s  an essential NOT elementary tenant of the faith.  Its funny that many adults want “the deeper things of God”, but have never laid the groundwork of the ESSENCE of who He is.  And that is where we start if we want to go deeper.    

Incredible story of how God pursued John with His love through his life and how that same love sustained him during a difficult time.  John shares his testimony live and goes public with his faith through baptism at Impact Church. 

Very often we talk about the "Gospel" in the sense that God has pursued us with His love and come to redeem His people unto himself for his glory.  How He stepped out of Heaven to come and make a way for us to be reconciled to the Father.  What we don't talk about is the part after salvation.  The part where one day Christ will return again as Judge to take His rightful place as Lord of All.  That is the Rest of the Story...

There is something so special about the church.  God has specifically given the world a picture of Himself through the way the church is intended to love on one another.  Unity, healing, friendship, support, accountability, and transformation are all found in the Power of One!  The world needs to see God and we need one another.

This world can seem so big sometimes and we can feel very small and insignificant in it.  It's hard to wrap our minds around the fact that God is near to us.  That He desires a personal relationship with each person.  God has given great proof that He wants to be in the details of our lives.  Join us as we take a closer look at a Father's loving pursuit of His children.

This series is about how Christ desires deal with the junk that we all have in our lives.  Junk that robs us from the freedom He wants us to enjoy.

What should our lives be about?  Sure we are busy and our lives are full of good things, but what is the one thing that our lives should be laser focused upon?  What matters the most to you?

So here at the end of the year, its a natural time to look at the past year and forward to the next.  The Gospel helps to shift our perspective in navigating past mistakes and future hopes and dreams.

The Christmas Season is a great time to slow down and lean into the real meaning of Christmas.  In reality, we see God's master plan to intervene into our lives to rescue us and restore us back to Himself.  The Christmas story is bigger and better than we could imagine in a nativity scene.

We all have our own thoughts about prayer.  It's time to re-examine our prayer lives. How do you approach God when you pray? In what way has He instructed us to pray? This message will revolutionize the way you communicate with Him.

In our Freedom Series we talked about how there is nothing that we add to Jesus for our salvation.  Now Paul gets into the practical side of things where we learn why we can have confidence in placing our trust in Him. In Christ we have a new PERSPECTIVE.  If we misunderstand our walk with God it can feel extremely heavy and burdensome, which only leads to a life completely out of control, empty, and mostly counter-productive.  Do you have God's perspective about the new you?

Jesus gave everything in order to give us complete freedom.  However, we have a tendency to gravitate back into bondage.  In Colossians 2, Paul teaches us to focus completely on the sufficiency of Christ and to leave alone any empty philosophy that takes away our freedom.  In this three part series we unpack Colossians 2 to discover the meaning of gospel-centered freedom and how it applies to our lives.

Dealing with people is hard...the dynamic of relationships can be complicated.  In this 4-part series we look at what the scripture says about dealing with people. When our involvement with people is done biblically and is centered in Jesus…then it becomes joyful, and develops deep, lasting, and healing relationships that we all need.

After big things happen on our journey with God inevitably we want to rush to what is next.  However, God is far more interested in what is happening next in our hearts.  Join us as we walk through a few chapters of Joshua and see how God continually shepherds our hearts for a better future.

Joshua's is a story of faith, courage, and vision for a people.  He leads a massive movement of God's people into the next chapter of their journey with God.  In the same way, Impact Church is in the midst of a "next chapter" movement of God.  Faith, courage, and vision are key details to our story as we rally around what God is doing with us in the days ahead.  What He asks of us... that we would be "ALL IN".

We are blessed.  Sometimes those blessings are hard to see.  In this series we will highlight the not so common blessing in our lives.

Jonah.  It's a very familiar story however, the closer we look into the details the more we realize that there is more to this story than just a big fish that swallows a man.  This story is all about how God pursues those He loves.  Unfortunately, sometimes we buy into the idea that God is up there out there to “get you the moment you make a mistake”.  This isn't true thankfully, because most days I could say... I AM JONAH!

At the very core of who we are God has designed our hearts to exalt that which is beautiful. The problem comes when we make ultimate things out of good things. Our lives long for and pursue things God never intended for us to worship. It's these little gods that attack our hearts. The key to fighting these gods is to identify, repent, and replace them with a passion for Christ.

We all have a category in our minds about prayer.  How we should pray, when should we pray, and exactly how God will respond to our prayers.  Problem is... God has something completely different in mind.  God desires our big prayers because big prayers honor our big God.  There is a direct correlation between the content and methodology of our prayer life and our personal theology (who we think God really is).  It’s time to pray in a way that presses in boldly to the nature and character of God. 

During this series we will revisit a few audacious prayer moments in scripture.  We hope that the reality of truth learned here will help shock us out of the mundane pattern of thinking on prayer, that hinders God’s desire for our personal prayer lives.

Our tendency in life is to live with a certain destination in mind.  Most of the time our destinations are only a portion of what God plans for our life.  You may have arrived but the journey has just begun...In Christ!
