Well guys you survived!  Monday after Mother's Day and hopefully you called your mom and took your sweet wife out for lunch... or something really close to that. If NOT, please get off the blog and go beg for forgiveness right away.

As for the rest of you...  it's time to recap the worship experience this week.

We're in our third week of our series called "Praying Outside the Box" .  Pastor Donnie spoke about Hannah and her prayer for a child.  Normally we would not do Mother's Day themed messages, however Pastor Donnie was feeling a little bold and decided to press in and challenge the ladies.

Set List:

God Be Praised - Elevation Worship

What A Savior - Laura Story (NEW)

Give Me Faith - Elevation Worship

The Stand - Hillsong United

The big point this week:

God desires moms (and parents in general) to pray big prayers for our children, because God's big plans and dreams are always better than ours.

Passage: 1 Samuel 1.

We also had  two video elements about mothers.  The first was a purchased video by "The Skit Guys" called "Being Mom".  You can check out more of there ministry and video here

The second video was the bumper to the message where some of our ladies answered questions about their mothers and their experiences as a mom. This video will be available soon on our video page on the website.

What a great day to worship Jesus together and honor mothers.
